What made you want to join Thermod?
I’ve spent my whole working life in the marine industry and eventually felt I’d learnt all there was to learn. I wanted a new challenge – something completely different – and Thermod felt like the perfect fit. We share the same values, especially when it comes to quality and technology. At first, I thought, “a door is just a door”, but I soon realised how wrong I was! There’s so much engineering and innovation behind the products, and that really caught my interest.
What do you think is most important when building strong customer relationships?
Being genuine. People can tell when you truly care. I always try to listen and understand what the customer actually needs – not just what they ask for. And being honest – that builds trust and long-term relationships. My goal is to become a true door expert, bring positive energy to the team, and be someone both customers and colleagues can rely on.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love travelling – preferably somewhere sunny and warm! In summer, you’ll often find me on the west coast of Sweden, close to the sea. I’m also a big motorsport fan, and even though I no longer have my own garage, I jump at any chance to get behind the wheel and do a few laps on the track.
